The project is closed

The project is officially closed now or more like I decided to just let it be.

This project is originally developed for Gamedev.tv game jam, while at that it was also the first time I use UE4 to develop something which is quite hectic experience. The reason I decided to close project is not because I given up on it but rather I already planned to do this from the beginning. The project is space consuming therefore I will delete all the files but leave the concept on my profile so that if anyone interest in my past works can come and have a look.

I thought about making this post as the "post-mortem" post, but it's also the announcement of the cancelled project so make it as announcement is make sense.

Before I end this post I would like to give special thank to people who came to check out my project and those whom talking with me in the gamedev.tv discord server while we're working on the gamejam games on our own. There were people whom having impressive projects and those that couldn't finish one but I'm glad that those people are getting better.

There is a person that I look up to and is my idol in term of game development, Tim Ruswick. His enthusiasm encouraged many people that has been following him and his career success truly inspired those whom still in bad place like me to continued to work. I hope there is one day that Tim come and read my post then say "Wow, this guy is look up to me? I'm so proud of myself"

Anyway I'm continuing my game development journey within UE4 because I like it a lot, so hopefully I'll have something for people to play soon because I'm trying to develop the very first prototype that'll lead into my first commercial project. It won't look impressive whatsoever but before I invest my time and energy to commercialize the project I have to prove my ideas so that it's at least feel good to play, or at the very least I want to know why it is not good enough and how would I change to make it better.

Thanks for checking this post out and wish good luck in my journey, I'm also wishing you the same.
